SEMESTER 1

Understanding the discipline through hand skills is the base for workshop. It comprises of visual perception through pen and ink in form of lectures and hands on exercises.

Te objective is to introduce technical drawings as a tool for communication. It includes line exercise, basic geometry, and projections of solids.

Students are introduced to various elements and principles of design like rhythm, balance and harmony. Explorations of form and volumes with light-shades are carried out.

The intention of first design studio is to explore human anthropometry with space. It enables the students to experiment with space, time and motion. Students have conceptualized with various elements through compositions in the designs.
