Prof. Devang Parekh is an Urban Designer with over two decades of academic and professional experience. He graduated in Architecture from Maharaja Sayajirao University, Vadodara, and pursued his post-graduation in Urban Design from the School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi. His teaching and research primarily focus on the interrelationships between environment, ecology, and the built environment, with a current interest in exploring the larger dimensions of sustainability in architecture.

At IPSA, he serves as Principal and Dean, providing academic leadership and vision to the institution. He is also heading the International Affairs, with the aim of connecting IPSA and its students to a global network of educators and institutions. 

Prof. Parekh has been actively engaged in academic forums as a member of the Board of Studies at several architectural schools. He has participated in numerous national conferences and workshops, contributing his expertise on issues of urban design, ecology, and sustainability.

His work reflects a commitment to fostering holistic architectural education that equips students to address contemporary challenges in design, environment, and society at large.
