National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) is being conducted by the Council of Architecture, being the competent & final authority for the purpose of fixing norms and standards for architectural institutions and having the necessary expertise to hold a Common Aptitude Test in Architecture, at national level to provide a single window system for appearing in aptitude test and to facilitate institutions, students and public at large for admission to First year of 5 year B.Arch Degree Course at all recognized Institutions all over country.

Eligibility Criteria for Candidates.

Candidates may come from the following backgrounds:

No candidate shall be admitted to architecture course unless she/ he has passed an examination at the end of the 10+2 scheme of examination with at least 50%aggregatemarks in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics and also at least 50% marks in aggregate of the 10+2 level examination or passed 10+3 Diploma Examination with Mathematics as compulsory subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate;(those appearing the 10+2examwith PCM subjects in the current year may also provisionally appear in the exam, however, their result in NATA-2024 will be declared valid subject to fulfilling the above criteria).

QUALIFYING IN NATA – 2024 DOES NOT CONSTITUTE A RIGHT/ GUARANTEE IN FAVOUR OF THE CANDIDATE FOR HIS/HER ADMISSION TO ANY ARCHITECTURE COURSE UNLESS HE/SHE HAS FULFILLED ALL THE PRESCRIBED REQUIREMENTS AS SPECIFIED BY RESPECTIVE COMPETENT AUTHORITIES.

Only candidates who have the following credentials shall be eligible for admission to B.Arch. Course.

i. Qualified through the recognized aptitude test in Architecture (NATA) in 2024
ii. Have gone through any of the following curriculum with marks as prescribed below:
(a) Secured 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and also 50% marks in aggregate at 10+2 level examination
(b) or Passed 10+3 Diploma Examination with Mathematics as compulsory subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate

Candidates may note that no direct lateral admission is allowed at any Other year/stage of B.Arch. course based on any qualification.
